What kind of person is the instructor?
The instructor opened a chiffon cake specialty store in 2015.
Since the day I opened, I have been baking chiffon cakes every day the store is open.
Meanwhile, I thought.
「I want more people to try the shop’s popular chiffon cake.」
That feeling grew stronger day by day.
But
The shop’s popular chiffon cakes are only sold on the same day they are baked.
Therefore, I cannot bake very large quantities of cakes.
I thought it would be impossible to feed more people, so I gave up.
Meanwhile, a customer who came to the store said,
「How can I make it as fluffy as this cake?」
This question is becoming more and more common.
One day I thought to myself.
It would be great if customers could make their own fluffy chiffon cakes!
Thankfully, I still have customers who come to my shop several years later.
As before, I will bake and sell chiffon cakes at the store.
It is difficult for me to do lessons at the same time.
So, I studied on my own with the goal of taking online lessons.
I want to take our customers’ requests seriously.
I’m still learning how to make lesson’s videos.
At the store, I often also learn from customers.
I’m still studying, but I’ve recently decided to start online lessons.
There are good things about handmade items.
■Being able to eat the cake the same day it is baked.
■Being able to arrange it to your own taste.
There is also something special about eating cake bought at the cake shop.
It gives me a very happy time.
Homemade cakes take a lot of time. It also requires preparation of tools and materials.
I think that’s a wonderful way to spend time that can only be done by hand.
